Dr. B. A. Adesina is a senior lecturer in the Department of Arts and Social Science Education, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She holds B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Economics. She also holds M.Ed., M.A.Ed. and Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies. She teaches courses and conducts research in Curriculum, Instruction, Pedagogy, Economics Education and Teacher Education and publishes such research in reputable outlets. She attends national and international conferences and takes academic speaking and lecturing engagements. She supervises student-teaching and provides feedback that leads to enhancement of the students’ quality of teaching. She is a mentor to several undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is also a facilitator of in-service training of teachers thereby improving teaching and learning competencies. She engages in various community services. She engages in academic collaboration within and outside the country. She is the current Acting Head of the Department.
